Credential Program Admissions
Welcome to our Single Subject Credential Program Admissions!
We are thrilled to support you on your path towards becoming a secondary teacher in California. The core of teaching extends far beyond imparting knowledge; it's about:

Before applying to the Single Subject Credential Program:
You must attend a mandatory 90 minute overview where you will receive detailed information about our program options and the application process. This is your time to ask all your questions about the program and admissions so come prepared with questions. Please review this Program Admission Requirements document 
and keep it handy during the overview. You will be asked to upload evidence from your attendance at this overview in your application materials while applying through Cal State Apply

If you are planning to take pre-requisites, please read the information below:
Prerequisites for the teacher credential program - EDSC 310, 320, 330, 340 - can be taken at CSUF or at other institutions. They can be in progress at the time your application is submitted but must be completed before the start of the program. If taken at other schools, please check our course equivalency list here
before enrolling to ensure you are selecting the correct courses. If you plan to take prerequisites at CSUF, you may take them through CSUF’s Extension program (8-week online courses) or through Open University (15-week courses during the regular Fall or Spring semester, online or face-to-face).

Look for the Single Subject Overview sessions listed in the calendar on the left. These are currently offered virtually through Zoom. Here is the Zoom link
for the session. RSVP is not required.
PARKING
If you are planning to visit our Program Admissions office during the week, you may pay for parking by the hour at the kiosks in the parking structures.
PRIORITY DEADLINES
Application and supporting documents must be submitted by the priority deadlines below. Prerequisite courses may be in progress at time of application deadline, however, they must be complete before the start of the program.
You may submit an application after the final priority deadline; however, admission decisions will be prioritized for those who submit an application by the stated priority deadline. If you submit an application after the priority deadline, you will be placed on a waitlist and your application will be processed if a space becomes available. If you have any questions regarding this process prior to submitting an application, please email EDSCAdmissions@fullerton.edu.
Applicants who are planning to apply for Financial Aid
should not wait until admission is granted. Apply for financial aid as soon as possible.
