OTO PROJECT SPACE: WORKSHOP – The School of Noise (7–12 year olds)

No Longer Available

The School of Noise host two seperate workshops over two weekends for both children and adults. They will bring along a variety of music making and sculpting instruments for you to learn about and play on. The School of Noise will introduce you to the hidden world of Foley sounds used in film, recording and sampling noise to create music, as well as experiments demonstrating the science of sound. There's no need to have any musical experience to take part in these workshops.

"The School of Noise is one of those ideas that you just KNOW is right: bringing back a sense of wonder & accessibility to music-making. Music is organised noise & organising noise is fun!" – Jarvis Cocker

Places are limited to 20 participants per workshop – parents and guardians of the children attending go free.
