Langham Research Centre is the UK's leading group devoted to auth­entic perfor­mances of classic electronic music. Comprising Felix Carey, Iain Chambers, Philip Tagney, and Robert Worby, LRC work with obsolete equipment including tape recorders, gramophone cartridges and sine wave oscillators, to perform authentic versions of 20th century classic electronic repertoire by John Cage, Alvin Lucier and others, as well as their own compositions. Gathering together over ten years work of work , their debut album, Tape Works, Vol. 1, is now available on the Nonclassical label as 12” vinyl, CD and cassette.
