Stone

Stone is the first book in the Stone Cold Fox Trilogy by Max Monroe. This book is different from the regular ROM-COM Max Monroe stories. There are so many twists and turns in this heart stopping story that it will keep you enthralled. There is Levi who is a sweetheart. Then you have Officer Levi. He is HOT but has anger issues. The characters are amazing, full of life, spit and vinegar, sexual tension, and then you get ....! Gotcha! LOL! Seriously this is a MUST READ, and I can't wait for the release of "Cold" book 2 in this Trilogy. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book but I still bought the book. It was that good!

Wow doesn’t even cover it. I have loved every Max Monroe book I’ve read and though this was quite a shift away from the romcoms that they usually write, I loved it! It still packs plenty of heat, and the writing is just as great. Levi and Ivy are wonderful. The only thing I hate is that I have to wait a month for the next book in the trilogy. But there is a trilogy, so there will be more great reading ahead. I voluntarily reviewed this Advance Reader Copy.

I need book 2 ASAP!! I have read every Max Monroe book to date and I can honestly say I'm in awe of this one. Stone is so different from any of their previous works. We are used to their hilarious and sexy rom-coms featuring crazy out of this world characters. It's refreshing and exciting to read something angsty and more emotionally charged from this magical duo. Max & Monroe completely knocked it out of the park. I love love loved it. Ivy is a Hollywood actress coming to the town of Cold, Montana to film a movie based on the town's tragic events years prior. Levi Fox is the sexy, broody police officer assigned to work as the film's liaison. However, the film hits too close to home and he wants nothing to do with this movie - including the gorgeous and charming Ivy Stone. The tension and the push and pull between Levi and Ivy is so good. My stomach tightened in anticipation for something delicious to occur between them. I simply fell for these characters. They have so much depth. Ivy is genuine and sweet. Her caring nature won me over immediately. And Levi. A bit broken and gruff but it's understandable. I couldn't get enough. This book leaves us emotionally drained, heartbroken and craving more and more!! Stone is only the first book of the Stone Cold Fox trilogy and it's amazing. I can't wait to read the next two books. Judging by the first book, I'm bound to be blown away.
