Once there was a princess...

Forced to run from her drug-dealing boyfriend, Neve ends up injured and alone in the middle of the Colorado wilderness. She never planned on being rescued by seven bikers and brought to their clubhouse. While the other bikers welcome a female presence, their leader, Charm, is not impressed. As Neve recuperates, she begins to see that there's much more to this club president than she thought possible. However, while she might've run, she can't stay hidden forever.

This is book one of the Fairest series, but all books are complete standalones.

Shannon is a born and raised Texan. She grew up inventing clever stories, usually to get herself out of trouble. Her mother was not amused. In junior high, she began writing fractured fairy tales from the villain's point of view and that was the moment she knew that she was going to use her powers for evil instead of good.

In 2003, she moved to Denver and met the love of her life. After some relentless stalking and a few well-timed sarcastic remarks, the man eventually gave in to her charms and wifed her so hard. They welcomed a son in 2007 that they named after their favorite Marvel superhero, Spiderman.

Sick of seeing beautiful mountains through their window every day, the three escaped back to the desolate landscape of the west Texas desert in 2009. She welcomed her second son not long after and soon realized that being surrounded by three men was nothing at all like she'd imagined in her fantasies.

After an unplanned surgery in 2014 and a long pity party, she decided to pen a novel about the worst thing that could happen to a person in order to cheer herself up. She's twisted like that. Thus, From This Day Forward was born and the rest, as they say, is history.

Not only does Shannon enjoy stalking people, she also has a fondness for being stalked. Visit her at www.shannonshaemyers.com to keep up with her latest schemes and shenanigans.

This was an MC romance loosely based on the fairytale Snow White and the seven dwarves.
This is still a contemporary, not a fantasy this just incorporates some of the fairytale with vague parallels.
Neve is left for dead by her drug-dealer boyfriend in the woods.
Found by the Scarred Savages MC who she nicknames sleepy, grumpy etc they take her back to there clubhouse and to Charm their President.
Neve is a coke addict so even though Charm doesn't want her there mainly because of his past they detox her.
Against his better judgement, he allows her to stay if she cooks and cleans for them and she integrates herself into the club.
So this was enjoyable but I have a few issues that spoilt this for me.
I sometimes felt peoples reactions here just didn't make a whole lot of sense especially charm who did give very mixed signals and had a tendency to spit his dummy out when things didn't go his way.
Then there were things like Neves inheritance surely you would know what your parents had left you in there will even if it was in a trust because of your addiction I would think you would still be informed of this by a lawyer.
It was just a combination of several picky things that for me started to mount up and let this down.
Add in the whole coma thing which I really hated like a lot and I was done.
I did still enjoy this to a point but it had some definite issues for me that spoilt things somewhat.

I can only give 2 stars to this book and thats only because it was safe. The heroine was a drug addict who left college for drugs and her addicted loser of a boyfriend being someone so "smart" she sure didn't think that through and I didn't even felt sorry for her when he stabbed her.. When She offered herself as club whore in payment for them to help her and they didn't want her skinny drug addict ass (hero's words, not mine). I was shaking my head, really this woman doesn't learn anything?
Hero was an asshole through almost the whole book. He pushed her away a lot.
The only one I liked was Joker. So maybe I'll read his book.

Wow, just wow. Beautiful writing, an amazing story with lovable characters. An MC book with faithful men who are definitely not man-whores. None of them. They didn't even have club-bunnies. None. There was no OW drama at all. Totally safe. Just the best. And an HEA.

I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. I'm hooked.

“I crushed her up against my chest, deciding then and there that I wasn’t going to fight it anymore. I wasn’t going to force myself to stay away. Her demons and mine were the same; perhaps they were even close friends in another realm.”

There are a lot of books I say I love, many books I read multiple times, but not many books can I say truly challenge my thinking and force me to consider another angle of life. This book did just that. Oh, and, head’s up — this review is going to be crazy long.

Outside of loving to read, I have this (borderline unhealthy) obsession with crime, lockup, and the drug trade. Seeing that Shannon was delving into a heroine with a drug addiction meant that two of my obsessions would meet!
When I met Neve, I was supremely impressed by the authenticity of her fall into a lifestyle so far removed from where she began. “Clint wasn’t what I expected in a drug dealer — well, my only experience up until this point was based upon the aforementioned after-school specials with bad music. I’d expected some greasy drifter with bad hygiene, but he was none of those things.” Neve was a naive college student who was soon sucked into a life she never imagined was possible with all the best intentions. How many of us can say we’ve done the same? Maybe not down a path to drug addiction, but to anything that isn’t the best choice. We set out with good intentions, but quickly find ourselves stuck on a path we never expected.

Finding a group of bikers was definitely not even Neve the addict’s plan. These bikers were some of the most genuine, confusing, and … strong characters. These men weren’t the typical alpha, asshole bikers — they were men who had battled their own demons and were conscious that at any moment their freedom from these demons could be lost. There’s nothing more courageous, to me, than a person who can get up each day and choose to keep fighting. Out of all these bikers, though, Charm catches our little Neve’s attention. “The man was gorgeous; his dark hair fell right below his jawline, slightly curling at the ends. If Joe Manganiello and Jason Momoa had a love child, this man was definitely it.” If that’s the description, then please excuse me as I … *swoons into a faint.*

I can’t even tell you how much I fell in love with each and every one of these bikers. They were full of such amazing wisdom, carried with them huge hearts, and never, ever let Neve (or each other) down. I can’t even include all the passages I highlighted as I went through this story — it seemed at every paragraph something just tugged at my heart. And if you think this is just some cheesy, addict finds love story … boy are you wrong. There’s so much more here.

My favorite part of the love story, though, was that Charm was never the stereotypical guy. Was he kinda a jerk? Sure, but never without intention. Was he supremely alpha? In ways, yes, because he was the leader and used to keeping everyone in check. But, he was EVERYTHING that Neve needed. “He gave me a half smile. ‘Honey, I stand by what I said the other day–I got zero interest in being your man.’ My face fell, but he continued. ‘You don’t need a man–you need a gooddamn warrior. A gladiator–someone to risk it all to keep you safe. A protector–that’s what I want to be.”

This story was one I got the distinct pleasure to see form, change, and evolve through multiple stages. To say that the finished product is everything I wished it would be isn’t saying enough. Honestly, I think Disney could learn a thing or two from this story. I’d take a fairy tale like this one any day.

5 magical stars!

I started this book late last night thinking it was a good idea even though I had work in the morning- it was not a good idea because I was sucked in. I am tired, running on a few hours of sleep but this book was so worth it. I was captivated from start to finish by this modern day story of Little Snow White. I should’ve known better because Shannon is one of my favorite authors and everything she writes is magic. I loved Neve and Charming; they were flawed, but perfect for each other. The secondary characters had me laughing, I totally cried towards the end, but I’m so happy they get their hea. If you enjoy hate-to-love tropes with flawed characters, then you need to read this book! I can’t wait for Shannon’s next book!

Through the Woods by Shannon Myers a five star-read that you will take you to a fairy-tale far away. I have taken a couple of days to do this review as I didn’t know what to say, I couldn’t do the story justice, I made a very loud squeal (scaring my husband half to death) when I saw a message to check my kindle and saw this pop up and despite a message making sure I knew it wasn’t another Renegade series book (Amazing series by the author in case you haven’t read it yet, please do its proper amazing!!) So I went into it thinking I’m sure it will be great, but you never know. I’m now left wondering how to do the book justice with my review.
It was such a great story, there are twists and drama a plenty and much like the fairy tale that the story has some similarities with it will stand the test of time, seven bikers and one woman, I was thinking it was going to be a certain genre that seems to be very popular at the moment but it wasn’t, the seven bikers all have their own story to tell and I sure hope they will get the chance to tell it as this is the first book of the Fairest series, so maybe we will get to them all.
Neve was a character that shows us how no matter how hard you try or how intelligent you are, life can still throw a curveball and have you making a decision that will change your life in ways you wouldn’t recognise. The description of Charm made me chuckle and blush, as characters they were so well written, the story unfolded and explained things at a great pace. Neve may have been beaten down but she was never portrayed as down trodden, just a girl who made the wrong decision and faced the consequences of life.
I could write hundreds of more words about how the other characters have hidden depths how you will fall in love with each and everyone but you need to pick the book up and read that instead. All I will say is that each character will touch you in their wn way, and each of them will leave you with a little something. This book will be one I will re-read frequently and will always have a place in my top reads. I don’t think I can say a big enough thank you for Shannon for writing these amazing words.

5 Stars!!!

This is a new author for me, I’m not even sure how I came across this book but Shannon Myers has a new fan.

I was addicted and could not put it down from start to finish. The writing style just grabbed me and didn’t let go. I’m not a fan of flashbacks but the way they were done in this story kept me interested. Most of the flashbacks came from reading a journal.

We start with Neve who is in college and way in over her head. She gives herself one night of fun and a break from studying and it changes the course of her life. She winds up addicted to drugs and running for her life through the woods where she is found half dead by a group of bikers. They take her in some of them not as thrilled as others and help her detox. In a creative and humorous way the h finds comparisons of the biker brothers to the dwarves from Snow White. She convince the prez Charm to let her stay if she helps cook and clean for the club.

I don’t want to say much and give the story away, but the relationship development between Neve and each of the bikers and how not only did they help her but she helped them was amazing to read.

Just read this book it was amazing and I can’t wait to read more!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

I thought I knew what I was getting into when I started Through The Woods, but honestly, this book threw me a hell of a curveball! Intense, full of angst, bad-ass bikers with surprising amount of caring and compassion and a slightly more twisted version of Snow White the fairy tale, I was utterly floored by this read. I am not sure if this is a bit of a dark romance or a harder core version of romantic suspense. I mean WOW! This was so intense! We have bikers and a woman who is coming off of drug use and secrets that seem to draw the angst and drama out and made me feel like I was standing over a cliff, heart pounding madly in my chest, and filled with exhilaration. It was all consuming and powerful and I LOVED IT!

Even though we get lots of angst, we also get plenty of heat filled moments too. Ones that had me crushing on the club president himself, even when he was a bit surly. And when shit hits the fan, things got down and dirty and scary and it was just as mesmerizing as everything else about this book. I am kind of insane about this new series of Miss Myers and I already am anticipating the next book in her new Fairest series.

I give Through The Woods a THRILLING BEYOND BELIEF FIVE SHOOTING STARS! If you think you know bikers and their ways...you ain't seen nothing yet!

This story was one that I was not expecting. I was thinking it would be a modern day twist on a fairy tale……well it is but then it isn’t. It is a warped modern day fairy tale of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs . It has drug use, angst, dirty sex, alpha bikers, twisted villains, drug addiction, flawed hero and broken heroine, intense passion and good vs evil.
The author paints a really good picture of who Neve White is. She is a 22 yr old who had a promising future ahead of her. Until she got hooked on drugs and then her life went down the drain and now she is on the run from her psycho boyfriend who tried to kill her. She is rescued by 7 bikers and their leader, Charm is not at all happy that they brought her along and in essence, saved her. Charm is one unique hero. He is not your typical hero. He doesn’t want Neve there, he seems resentful of her presence yet there was chemistry , connection between this from the first spark that lit from their first meeting. Charm lets her stay only IF Neve agrees to work for her place and if she changes her lifestyle (aka comes off the drugs). This is where we see the battle wage between them. She doesn’t know what to make of his interest in her being clean yet she doesn’t want to be out there where her boyfriend can make good on killing her so she agrees. As she works around the property doing jobs, she comes across something of Charm’s that offers her insight into who he is and she starts to learn more about him and she finds herself wanting to know more about him as opposed to fighting him every chance she had. The interactions this author writes are spellbinding and complex. Charm and Neve will hook you into their story and have you rooting for them. They are broken souls who aren’t perfect yet that doesn’t mean they do not deserve a HEA too. This story is raw, gritty , heartbreaking yet it does have some humorous parts and the passion is intense between Neve and Charm. The secondary characters introduced in this story were very interesting, lots of fun and intriguing enough that I would love to see them get their stories next. This is my first read by Ms. Myers and I want more from her. I am very glad I checked this story out and I very much recommend this to everyone!!!

My Rating: 4.8 stars *****

Neve White has a bright future ahead of her but when she meets Clint her world turns upside down when he gets her hooked on cocaine as a way of coping with her school schedule. But at 22 she is completely addicted and Clint attempts to kill her but luckily she escapes.

Neve is rescued by 7 bikers and their leader, Charm, is not happy she is there. Gradually Neve finds her place among the men and finds a journal written by Charm explaining the past of the men and Neve puts together the pieces of their lives.

As Neve begins to find peace and her place among the bikers and with Charm, everything changes in an instant. Will they get to Neve in time and will Charm believe her?

Wow - this book was such an amazing ride from start to finish.

My heart went out to Neve as at 18 she had such promise but with one bad decision her whole life changed. I hated what Clint did to her and how everything changed from that and how he got her into so much trouble from there.

I wasn't too sure about Charm at the beginning but as I got to know more about his story I understood why he was so concerned about not getting attached to Neve with her history of drugs. Yet she began to break down his walls and soon it was obvious how protective he was over her. I liked hearing about Neve's past and the fact she had her demons and I was definitely sad about the fire and what it took from her.

I knew there was a big twist and I was definitely not disappointed by it! I felt so bad for Neve when everything was revealed about how everyone was involved and what had been done to what she ingested. I was scared for who didn't make it and I crossed my fingers that the one was able to make it. I'm glad that everyone got there in time!

The end was great and I can't wait to read more in this series!!

5 Stars!

A Top Read of 2018!

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this book is! The writing, the story, the characters, the climax... that HEA! All of it amazing! This is one of my favorite re-tellings of the Snow White/Little Snow fairytale I have ever read!

I won't give a lot of story details, because spoilers super suck! What I will tell you is that it has all the elements of the Grimm fairy tale with a little Disney thrown in and Myers has thrown the perfect contemporary twist on it, weaving the theme of snow so perfectly through the book in more ways than one.

Neve (Snow White) is a great character. She is flawed, honest, caring and real. She is a character you can fall into. Charm (Prince Charming) is certainly not like the fair-haired, royal prince. In my opinion, he was better. He was still written to be her rescuer, but he wasn't perfect, by any means. He didn't ride in on his steed (or motorcycle as it may be) and rescue her. The seven men (or Seven Dwarfs) are a ragtag bunch of bikers that you can't help but love. At times, they are the stars of the book.

The most impressive part of this re-telling, in my opinion, was Myers ability to weave this complex backstory that gradually revealed itself through the book in bits and pieces as journal entries. They were kept to the minimum and only used as plot drivers at the appropriate places throughout the book. It was perfectly done. I am not much for flashbacks, especially when they are overused or seem forced. That was not the case here, so kudos Ms. Myers!

Honestly, I can't find one thing I didn't like. The book was well-paced, a good length and there were no pesky plot holes. Heck, she even managed to keep the true bad guy under wraps until the perfect moment.

An amazing fairy-tale retelling. An amazing read!

Oh my!!! A new author for me and totally new take on the MC scene that blew me away. The intensity in the beginning kept me reading, wondering where this was leading too, then the “woods” truly entered the story and I was hooked, I then devoured each page, loving each character, the dialogue and plot.
In short, the story follows Neve, a young woman on the run from her druggie boyfriend. She meets Charm, a biker who wasn’t named for his character and his band of biker friends.
He finds her in the woods needing help, beaten, bruised and looking for her next fix, her life’s a mess.
Neve offers to work if she can stay, Charm agrees only if she agrees to change her lifestyle. The fight begins.
I liked this story very much, it was very original. I liked how the relationship between Neve and Charm developed, it was very slowly and allowed to grow. The secondary characters were very interesting, lots of fun and intriguing enough to have their own individual stories.
This was an amazing take on a favourite classic, it has it all, laughs, drama, suspense and love. I highly recommend it!

This is my first read by Ms. Myers. I was totally invested in all of these characters. Neve got addicted to cocaine her freshman year of college. Now she is on the run from her drug dealing ex-boyfriend who attempted to kill her. He leaves her body in the wilderness of Colorado, only to have her body stumbled upon by bikers. She is in and out of consciousness and dubs her rescuers by the little dwarfs names in Snow White. The president is a real hard a** when it comes to Neve. Charm has his own personal reasons for treating Neve the way he does. Once they detox her he’ll only let her stay if she agrees to cook and clean for the entire MC. Charm has misgivings about whether Neve will stay sober. All of the men have their special quirks about them leading Neve to further equate the members to the seven dwarfs. When Neve’s past finally catches up with her will she pull through sober? I really wish all of the characters, even the secondary characters got there happily ever after, but that was not in the cards for one prospect.

5+ Star Review

So I finished this book a short time ago, but I’ve been debating how to write this review. I don’t often give 5+ reviews, but this book warrants that review and more. I loved this story. It beautifully written and kept me wanting more with each page. I’m absolutely not going to give you any spoilers, because I want you to read this book. I will give you a little run down.

Neve started out going to college with good intentions, but even the best of intentions don’t always work out. Now four years later, her life is not how she would have planned. She knows she needs to get away, but she doesn’t know how. Until the day she finds herself lost in the woods.

That is all you’re getting. Shannon Myers does an amazing job with this book. I love Shannon and all her books, but this one, knocked it out of the park for me. It is beautifully written. I felt like I was there watching the story unfold the whole time. I love how this story was part fairytale, part real world. I can’t rave enough about how much I love this book. I hope you will all check it out. I know there are plenty of fairytale books out there, but none like this. None will reach the depths this book does. Please check it out.

This book quickly became one of my top reads of 2019. What an incredible story! Neve is a warrior. What she has to overcome is not uncommon in today's society at all. Addicted, severely abused and almost killed she is finding her inner strength to survive. Charm however is not to fond of Neve being rescued by the MC and detoxing at their clubhouse. One minute he shows compassion, the next minute he is closed up. He has demons he is fighting and Neve can clearly see it. She challenges him in ways where he has to face his past and accept it. With no family left the MC becomes Neve's home and the guys her family that is protecting her fiercely. When the past comes crashing back into Neve's life she has to act. She can become a victim once again or a survivor.
This book took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. One chapter I am laughing hysterically over Neve's comments because let's face it; She has absolutely no filter. Then a few chapters later I am ugly crying with a box of Kleenex in my hand. I read this book in a day. I love the reference to Snow White. That just makes the book extra special. This is a must have book in every library!

This book has just rocketed to the top of my Shannon Myers hit list.

Stepping into the world of a re-imagined Snow White, I discovered a dark fairytale of drugs and motorcycle clubs - closer to the Grimms version than Disney, but also a tale of love and redemption.

Neve is a beautifully broken woman. Intelligent, sassy and oddly relatable, she showed strength and determination and has easily become one of my favourite heroines. Devastatingly, heartbreakingly and lovingly, I think there’s a little bit of Neve in all of us. Her new addiction, Charm, managed to be a low-key alpha bad ass, without reaching the level of assholery that leaves me eye-rolling like its the latest fitness craze and wishing I could suffocate both of them with pillow.

Not so secretly hoping Shannon has already written all the follow up books and they’re ready for immediate release, because I can not wait to keep reading this series.

I have an affinity for biker romance novels. The good ones.

Myers manages to combine the biker lifestyle with the fairy tale undertones of Sleeping Beauty. The story of Neve (clever pun), a young, tragic heroine who literally claws her way back from a very unhealthy slope she’s found herself on becomes an inspiring and beautiful story of personal strength and survival. Charm, the president, is actually a beautiful soul with an exterior made of stone and a heart made for love. Each character forces the other to grow and face uncomfortable truths. All this unfolds in the midst of danger and hidden threats.

On a personal note, I absolutely loved Myers’ characters. All of them. The way she shares their story through a unique narrative is so refreshing and poignantly powerful. Neve essentially brings the brotherhood to new heights and becomes the link the binds them all together. It’s not just a story of love, but friendship. It’s a story about survival and hard life lessons.

Thank you Shannon Myers. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

These are the kind of dwarfs Snow White really wanted!

Wow! What an awesome surprise this book turned out to be . Neve was left in the woods for dead when found by a group of Bikers. The story resembles the fairytale of Snow white and the seven dwarfs only in that sense . Charm was the prez of the MC and he and Neve were drawn together . This whole group of guys was lovable teddy bears with Neve. They didn’t have club whores or call women bitches which is refreshing for an MC book. Those are the things in particular that I don’t like with MC’s. I really can’t wait to see the other men’s stories !

This was not what I was expecting. When I started reading the story and turned into a warped or debased fairy tale. I really liked the story. It has: alternating pov, twists, manipulation, angst, dirty sex, broken H/h and HEA.
Neve was in college struggling to get through her first year when all she did was study. Her grades were a mess. She made the mistake of signing up for double major in Psychology and Neurosciences.
Her friend convinced her to take a break from studying and go to a party with her. She does and her life is changed forever...
Charm is the president of the Scarred Savages Motorcycle Club. He has been president of the club ever since his father was killed. He changed the club away from club whores and drugs. Most of the club members left and joined up with another club. He was left with seven men and plus a woman, they found in the woods, that someone had tried to kill...

How explicit 2 / 5

OVERALL 5 / 5

Through the Woods is an adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and I absolutely loved it!
I’m not normally one to like the warm fuzzy romances, so I was a little nervous beginning this fairy tale variation. I reminded myself that this was an MC romance and it should have the grit and naughtiness often associated with motorcycle club books. I am so happy I took that chance as this was an amazing book!

One of the biggest surprises was that Neve was not a perfect model princess. She was actually very far from one and I LOVED that! The storyline was unique, well developed, and refreshing! I absolutely adore the characters and thought it was brilliant how Ms. Myers introduced us to the MC members.

One of my favorites for 2018! A must read!

Wow, just wow! This book was amazing, this is a new to me author so I didn’t know what to expect when I dove into this book, I was totally blown away! I was hooked from the first page and spat out at the end, I totally devoured this book in one sitting and was sad when it ended. The reader is sucked down a rabbit hole that is full of twists and turns that keep you turning the pages and on the edge of your seat right till the end. The story follows Neve and Charm, he’s your typical biker, alpha male, rough around the edges but has a soft centre where Neve is concerned. Neve was a mess when she was found in the woods, her life had spiralled out of control and she was at rock bottom. Charm offers her a lifeline that changes her life for the better, I loved that we get to see their romance blossom and bloom over the Course of the book. I loved the background characters, they helped to enhance the story and bring a lot of light, funny moments, I hope we get to read some of their stories. Overall this was an amazing twist on a childhood classic, it made me laugh, cry, swoon and cling to the edge of my seat. I can’t recommend this book highly enough , I’m now off to devour the rest of this authors books. wish I could give more than 5*.

Through the Woods is not your average fairytale, but so much more. An unconventional love story, that captures your heart and soul from the beginning and never lets go. Beautifully written, this story flows with love, laughter, and angst. Such an enticing read you won't want to end, I highly recommend it!

Neve and Charm's story.....WOW, this book was so much more then what I expected.

Neve was a young college student with and extremely bright future when she met her drug dealing boyfriend, fast forward a couple of years and yeah that bright future is no more.....

Charm's MC brothers found a half dead coke addict in the woods, his worst nightmare.....

Charm and Neve's story is one of growth, self-healing, badass alpha men, and family.

This is definitely an author to watch and see what comes next....

This is an oddly twisted retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Charm is no prince and Neve is no princess and yet they are each others salvation, though Neve needs more saving than Charm.

One night changed Neve's life for the worse. Carefully laid plans were forgotten in the wake of her addiction. The boyfriend she thought loved her ends up being enemy number one. Beaten and left for dead, she's rescued by Charm who just wants her gone once she's detoxed and well enough to leave. But the time between finding her and her healing is enough for them to get to know one another, to see beyond the leather and addiction, to see the scars they each carry, the darkness they don't know how to get rid of.

This wasn't a walk through the park kind of story. It's a fight to stay alive, to keep the demons at bay, to maintain the facade that's worked for years when light is trying to come in. It's also a story of healing and recovery, especially for Neve. The years she spent wallowing in her addiction have come to an end, finally, and the man who's helped her is now her entire world.

This isn't for everyone, I admit that. Reading it may not even change your mind about liking it either. It was a worthwhile read for me though because Ms. Myers managed to retell a classic fairy tale and make it a love story unlike any other retellings I've read so far.

I cannot even begin to describe how devastatingly incredible this book is! Through the Woods was a pure hit of overwhelming, chaotic emotions and unimaginable situations that leaves you craving for more!

To be completely honest, what really attracted me to this book was the sucker-punch to the ovaries, smoking-hot cover. I one-clicked this book so fast I gave myself whiplash. Then come to find out the true contents of the storyline, and I was addicted. I haven’t read a good MC romance for awhile now. But at the astounding level at which Through the Woods was written, this book blows other MC novels right out of the water.

Everything about this book was brilliantly portrayed. This isn’t the type of romance for everyone…it delves into the darkness of drug addiction and violence, provoking strong emotions from the reader. The character dynamic between the large cast sparks intense loyalty and devotion. Each relationship serves a purpose in the storyline, and weaves an intriguing and deep bond between reader and novel.

I’m not going to say much more about this book other than READ IT. Read it, be consumed by it, revel in its powerful and climactic storyline, and fall in love with a man fighting hard to overcome his past and a woman battling for a new future…it’s one book you do not want to pass up.

5+ Stars!

I absolutely loved this book! Started one evening and stayed up until I finished. The emotions this story puts you through is off the charts. I laughed, cried, screamed!! It’s a beautiful story of family and finding oneself. The romance has so much angst and so many feels, I found myself holding my breath! It is an MC book and a romance, but it’s just so much more! Everyone had demons but it’s facing them and the support from others that makes you strong. I don’t do spoilers, just pick this book up you will be so glad you did. Just a brilliant story! Must read!!
