This author certainly knows how to write sports romance especially hockey romance and In It to Win It was everything I have come to expect and so much more from the very talented Kelly Jamieson. Taylor and JP met at a family wedding and the attraction was instant the chemistry sizzling then life got in the way, the timing was all wrong and nothing seemed to work. JP needed to get his life back under control before he could contemplate a relationship but Taylor was the perfect fun loving girl to get him back on track if she could only forget he was a hockey player....... This is a book with all the feels, it’s about a couple that make mistakes, it has its fair share of sorrow but it also has a lot hope, it’s a romance built around family and friends and I loved every word, it captivated me from the first page to the last line and I’m excited to see where we go next in the Wynn hockey series.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** I've enjoyed every hockey novel that Kelly Jamieson has penned for us, and In It to Win It was no different! We first met JP Wynn in the first book in this series and to say he's on the outs with his family due to the fact he was with his brother's girlfriend is an understatement. There is no doubt that JP has flaws, just like anyone does, but he recognizes it and it doing is level best to be a better person. Whenever he makes a mistake he can't let it go and he's constantly beating himself up which doesn't help him in the least. Taylor Hart is the best friend of Lacey, who we also met in book one. Taylor has always had a thing for hockey players, enough that she's dated them in the past, and that hasn't changed. When Taylor and JP connect at the wedding, they CONNECT and the sparks are immediate and explosive. When Taylor realizes she can use that chemistry to her advantage to make the man that left her jealous, she does so without a second thought. Well, at least a second thought at the time. There is no doubt that the chemistry and connection between Taylor and JP is immediate and enduring. They do have to deal with quite a bit of drama, but that is generally a staple with families and relationships! We do get a look at the Wynn family from JP's perspective and the one thing I liked was how he always focused on his step-mother and including her when much of the rest of the family doesn't. I think that shows what type of man he really is. I enjoyed this one and am definitely looking forward to the next one in the series.

Kelly Jamieson brings us yet another winning hockey book with the Wynn family series. I love all the branches of that very large extended family tree she includes in the front of the book. This attention grabber is about JP who we got a good shot of in book one as the ne'er do well brother who has a bit of a short fuse on the ice, as well as getting a seriously bad rap by his family for a suspect relationship with his older brothers girlfriend. Poor JP just can't win. Although he's trying and has made up his mind do "do better." All the while his family never misses a beat reminding him what a bomb out he is. When he meets Taylor at his brother's wedding rehearsal, the two quickly form an attraction and Taylor does something totally out of character and ends up spending the night in JP's room. I liked the chemistry between the two. Taylor has a lot going on in her life at home, faced with some life changing moves that include finding a new place to live along with finding a new home for her dog, JP willingly helps her out and takes the dog! Oh man, did I love that dog. So does JP and he likes Taylor even more, so having the dog JP, smart guy that he is can see more of Taylor. JP really is a great character, he's a great listener lending an ear to Taylor as she works out her feelings surrounding her family. And despite things that happen on the ice, he really is trying harder not to lose his temper. He gets some great guidance along the way from his brother and a couple unexpected family members as he tries to work through some of his issues and his feelings for Taylor. When the pucks up things with Taylor just a tad.... oh to be in that guys head.... just sayin'. How in the world is he going to fix things with Taylor? What is up with Everly and Wyatt? This is a must read in the world of the Wynn family and ready, waiting and anxious for the next book! Please tell me Everly and Wyatt are getting their own book! 4.5 stars arc from publisher via NetGalley
