This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.

The wait is over!!! Chaos has always had a special spot in my heart being so lone wolf and mysterious, I couldnt wait to dive into his story. And he did not disappoint!!!
Derrick, or Chaos as the online world knows him, is a man of few words and a whole lot of action. You can count on him to be charging into a mission without a second thought. He knows his team will follow and if they dont, hes got this. That is until he decides to go full solo. Can Derrick get his head out of his butt long enough to know that a team is what he needs?
Lee has always been just a name on a screen, someone who can lend a hand when the guys get stuck on computer related problems. Just another computer guy, or so Derrick thought. A meet has him realize Lee is Lidiya and she may be his undoing. That is until family and history gets in the way. Can they survive it and come out whole on the other side?
It's never a boring ride with the Cover Six Security boys, and this isnt any different! These men are made for all things delicious and dangerous, Chaos being no different. Hes always intrigued me, being quietly in the background, able to hunt down the most devious of online activity or crime but also beat the living daylights out of the criminal in just as short of time. Lee has been the mysterious connection, who's helped solved her fair share of problems without even knowing it. Theyve always been just names on a screen until history brings them together in more ways then any of them could have realized.

I’m two seconds into the book and the author writes a sentence that may make you sit up and wonder what she has in store for you.
Lidiya Stephenson has to make a quick decision. Derrick “Chaos” Biggs on the one hand doesn’t seem to play well with others but on the other he seems to care about those in his circle. It’s the suspense that starts right from the gate that carried me through each page.
Our author does such a great job that even though this is a work of fiction she always makes those scenes seem plausible especially in the current world we live in. It was a real rollercoaster ride with all the ups and downs plus those quick turns. So make sure to get comfortable because you’ll not want to miss a thing. Time seems to be a theme that runs through the story from beginning to end.
Derrick is the perfect choice to be part of the Cover Six group. On the one hand Lidiya seems timid and then she seems ready to do what needs to be done. Makes them seem like an odd couple. It makes you wonder how this author is going to make any type of relationship work between the two. That just makes this author good at what she does. One good thing about time is that the ending left me wanting more from these men and luckily I only have to wait a few months before I get to know another member of this group.

Whoosh… What a suspenseful, thrilling storyline. The Cover Six team is full of alpha, sexy, “testosterone” with a strong determination to protect what is right and what is theirs. This book is well written with a storyline that held me captive throughout. The characters wormed their way into my heart as well. The story started at a slow pace, with a bit of repetition for me, but then took off and never let up and who cared about a slow beginning.
Derrick “Chaos” Biggs is a former Marine now working for Cover Six, a private sector special ops team that works for the greater good. He has become a loner filled with self imposed demons. Other than his co-workers, his one outlet is a cyber hacker he chats with online named Lee. Can Chaos help Lee when she brings his past to the forefront? Or will the combining of their past issues be their downfalls.
This is a very gripping, exciting storyline that once it got going kept me glued to the pages. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for Warrior Derrick. I highly recommend grabbing this one up, as well as the other books in Cover Six Series.

Lidiya Stephenson didn’t exist, she was virtually invisible. No one knew her, no one would miss her, except maybe Chaos and they had never even met. She didn’t even know if Chaos was male or female! The message, “Your time is coming to an end”, had changed everything. Could she place her trust now in the cyber ghost, Chaos? She had no other option. She had disappeared too well. But someone knew; someone had tracked her! Now she needed help.
Derrick "Chaos" Biggs liked working for Cover Six Security, except for having a boss to answer to -- Daryl "Zeus" Anderson, one of the founders of CSS and the man-in-charge. Right now, he was furious with Derrick for going against orders. But he had seen things were getting ready to head downhill so he assessed the options and picked the one that made the most sense— the target was acquired and brought back safely. He considered the mission a success, even though he used himself as bait. So his boss told him he had one last chance – he had to stop the “lone wolf” stunts or he was through. But he came from a black ops background that none of them would ever comprehend. So he didn’t bother to argue. He wasn’t even sure he still had his humanity!
He returned to his office and booted up his computer. The last of his email from two days ago concerned him as he recognized something from his hacker friend he knew only as “Lee”. What he saw as a deliberate mistake set off alarm bells in his head. When he gets in touch with Lee to meet, he is not expecting a woman! And she does not want to tell him much and put him in danger. As an attempt is made on her life at their first meeting, they need to figure out who is after her, why, and how to protect each other. Has Chaos just met his soulmate? Does she feel the same? Will they survive long enough to do something about it as both of them are plunged into danger? And will this be the lesson he has needed all along about trusting your team, your “family”, to back you up no matter what?
I admired the incredibly good writing that went deep into the reader’s feelings to describe the environment and complexity of the characters. It would not be a surprise to find goosebumps on your arms as you read about Chaos’ backstory. All of the guys on the team were amazing, but he was exceptional. And Lee is a superb hacker. This story will draw the reader in like no other! Full of suspense, courage, danger, loyalty and more, you won’t want to let this one go!

The men of Cover Six Security are men who fight for what is right and their moral compass will never steer them wrong, unless it has anything to do with a woman.
Derrick “Chaos” Biggs is used to working alone and he likes his solitude. When he has to be around the men and women he works with, he feels that he has to put in so much effort to be polite and smile. This is why he likes being a computer geek. He can interact with people online and not have to face them in person, so his real persona can be hidden completely. The one person he interacts with on a regular basis is a hacker who can get into places he has trouble hacking. He has been communicating with Lee for eighteen months now and has his opinion of who Lee is in his head, but when Lee reaches out to him and asks for his help, he is thrown for loop when he sees Lee for the first time in person.
Lidiya “Lee” Stephenson is a computer hacker and a recluse, for the most part. After going into hiding two years ago to stay alive, she does her best to stay off anyone’s radar. She can’t afford to be found by the one person who wants to find her and kill her. However, he may have found her and could be closing in at any time. When her life is on the line, she reaches out to the one person she feels can help her, Chaos, a computer hacker who asks for her help on occasion when needed. She has her perception of who Chaos is, but she has no idea who he really is.
I love the Cover Six Security books. Derrick’s story didn’t disappoint either. He is a man who makes his way through life on his own believing that he can take care of himself and he doesn’t need his team mates to help him, until he does. He is so inside his head that it takes him almost losing Lee for him to realize that what TR has been telling him was right all along. The chemistry the men at Cover Six Security have is great as is the chemistry that these men have with the women in their lives. I love the series and cannot wait for Wolf’s story. These men fight so hard not to fall that when they do, they fall very hard. I give this story a 5-star review and highly recommend it and the other books in the series.

Absolutely love the Deep Six Security series each book is a stand alone but as the characters cross over I would recommend that you read them all and in order to get the full story. They are always fast paced with plenty of drama and adventure with plenty of romance and suspense thrown in just allow for the fact that once you start you won't be happy until you turn that last page and then you will be hanging out for the next story

When he returns from his latest op which was successful but once again he went off books he is warned do it again and you are gone. He checks his emails and finds one from Lee their tech person she is a hacker who they have never met and she is in danger someone is threatening her and she has turned to Chaos for help. Thy decide to meet and during this meet someone makes an attempt on her life Will Chaos be able to keep her safe and what happens when a hardened black op soldier starts to fall in love. Will he be able to keep her safe and will he finally learn the lesson about trusting his team and letting them have his back when he needs to protect the most precious thing in his world. The Warrior: DERRICK is the fourth book in the Cover Six Security series. This time the story centers on Derrick, aka Chaos, and Lidiya, aka Lee. Lee has worked with the team for some time but never met them in person as she deals with all the computer "deeper hacking" related things. Derrick has worked with her a lot but their relationship has always been through the keyboard.
For the past couple of years Lee has stayed hidden and off the radar. There is someone that wants her dead and is still searching for her. Now however the threat from Lee's past becomes real and she asks Chaos for help. When he first sees her he is stopped cold as she is the most beautiful woman to him and all he wants to do is make her his and protect her. Their chemistry is instant and palpable. He will do everything he can to keep her safe. But it takes almost losing Lee for him to realize that he needs the other men of the Cover Six Security team to help with this and they all do what they do best.
The Warrior: Derrick is a great story that has suspense, intrigue, twists and turn and sizzling chemistry. There were some things that I thought did not really fit with the story-line or the characters but it was still an enjoyable story to read.

Another suspenseful addition to the CSS series. Right from the first page The Warrior hooked and reeled me in and didn't let go until the very last page.
Derrick "Chaos" Biggs enjoys acting as a lone wolf, ironic because his code name is Chaos and not Wolf like one of his team members who also works in CSS. Constantly getting hounded for not being a team player it is that very nature that leads him to Lidiya "Lee" Stephenson a fellow hacker. Lee has helped Chaos in past missions when he hasn't been able to crack or break into computers, but they have never met face to face. That is until she contacts him needing his help.
Lidiya reaches out to the only person she feels she can trust, which is a very small circle of people, namely one. A man who goes by the name of Chaos. When her life is in jeopardy she turns to the only person who has been a link to the outside world in the past two years. Living like a recluse hasn't afforded Lidiya many opportunities to make friends. She hopes that reaching out isn't signing her death certificate.
Derrick tries to help Lee the best he can, but she is a woman full of secrets. Lidiya doesn't want to bring Derrick too far into her mess. Can they help each other without hurting the other? Is it also possible to find your soulmate, like TR predicts, through an online connection?

This is the story of Derrick 'Chaos' Biggs, and Lidiya Stephenson. It starts out with Lidiya in trouble, and she really has no one to turn to, other than Chaos, a person she's been talking to online for the past year and a half. She sends him an SOS message, and he's intrigued, but still not sure if this is some kind of game or not, so at their meeting place, he stands back to check it all out. Little did he know that the hacker he had been talking to was a woman, he had assumed it was some guy. Hell, he didn't even give her his real name at first, pretended to be someone else, until he could meet her in the parking lot. And as he's asking questions, someone tries to take her out, so he gets her in his vehicle. Let me tell you, it was like pulling teeth to get her to share what was going on, and it was half the book at least before it was revealed who was after her. So the push & pull was frustratingly annoying until that point. Like neither would trust the other, so yeah, I wanted to choke them both out. However, once Lee revealed her truths, with Derrick's reaction, I could totally see at that point why she wasn't ready to speak up. He was a total douche, and it bit him in the a**. So how does it all pan out?! You'll have to read it for yourselves to find out, and trust me, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great story line in this well written book that will capture your attention and carry you straight through to the end. The characters are very well written and complex. Both lead characters have secrets, one could get them killed, the other could end them. For both, there is a trust issue. Lee doesn't know if she can truly trust Chaos, even though she knows him to be loyal, strong and determined. Chaos doesn't know if he can trust Lee; not only because of his past experiences, but because she is asking for his help but doesn't want to tell him who is after her and why they want her dead. It's a kind of game he has to play to try and pull out the information he needs to ensure her safety, but then sex does cloud the situation and once it happens, things change. It takes a while, but Lee finally gives Chaos what he wants, unfortunately it has the effect that she feared and when his mouth overruns his brain, danger has an open door and steps right in, putting both of their lives in peril.
A great read that will have you turning page after page to see what happens next and how this will all end for Lee and Chaos. I highly recommend this book.

I liked this book, but it seemed as if it moved a little slowly then BAM everything went down, I would have liked it to be a little more fluid, but it was still a really enjoyable read!
Derrick is a bit broken, and totally not a team player, which makes his new job a bit hard. We don't get too much information about his team, just that he works better by himself. When his 'friend' Lee reaches out to him with an SOS, he can't not show. He just didn't expect Lee to be a freaking woman and in a world of trouble. Is he up to the task though?
All in all, this book was entertaining and interesting with a HUGE freaking twist! What a freaking secret Lidiya keeps and man it is a game changer. I am a huge fan of it though. Also Lidiya and Derrick have major freaking chemistry between the two of them, which I freaking loved! If you love alpha men that are a little bent but not broken, I totally recommend checking this out!

This is Chaos book. Another member of the Cover Six Security team. He is the man behind the screens when they are not out on assignment. Over a course of many months he grew a friendship with Lee on line. Never meeting face to face until a cryptic message comes across asking for help. When they meet, he was surprised to find that Lee was a woman. The whole time he thought she was a he. Lol!
Lee is also behind the screens throughout the day. But she is also hiding and has been for two years. She learns that she may have been found and decides to send Chaos a message asking for help. She wasn’t sure if he would even answer it, but he did.
I felt that the story flowed right along between these two and then all of a sudden there was tons of action and then ended. I still really enjoyed the book but I guess I wanted more suspense. I love the CSS series and can’t wait for the next one. You don’t necessarily need to read them in order. However, I feel like you know more about each person when they are introduced in future books.

Derrick "Choas" has some issues with trust so he tends to go out on his own to solve cases or do things. This doesn't set well with the other members of the security company he works for. Lee has secrets and has been a recluse for the past 2 years. She's good at computer hacking just like Choas is and that's how they met. She even helped him on a case a while back. So when Lee needs help she sends a message to Choas. They are both surprised when they meet each other and although she needs his help, she's reluctant to trust him. He proves he can be trusted but she's scared when he learns her secret and why she needs his help, he won't want anything to do with her and boy are there sparks between the two of them. They get into some trouble and thankfully he has his brothers at Cover Six to help them out. These men are more than members of a security team, they are family as well and the way the interact with each other can be quite funny! Very well written story that keeps you turning pages! 4 1/2 edge of your seat stars! This is how romantic suspense is supposed to be; full of intriguing story, action and characters that you care about. Lisa Kamps is so good at this! Now working on the Cover Six team, Derrick aka Chaos has been working with Lidiya aka Lee and Lee’s hacking skills online for the last 18 months, but they have never actually met. Until Lee has nowhere to turn and reaches out to the one person she feels she can trust to help her, Chaos. Funny how neither could have expected that they would be attracted to the other. And so begins a ride that could change their lives forever. They sure have chemistry but do they trust each other enough to explore it? Can they end Lee’s nightmare and stop running long enough to enjoy it?
I love this series and really enjoyed this book! I love the men and women at Cover Six Security Team and was happy they all play a part, no matter how big or small, in the story!

This is a great book about a young woman on the run for two years from something in her past. The book begins on a threatening note - it seems that someone wants to kill her. There is lots of action and adventure as she tries to get help from a computer hacker friend named Derrick (nicknamed Chaos). They fall in love, of course, but can she really trust anyone? And can he, in return, trust her when she refuses to explain what happened in her past that caused her to run? There is danger following her but she won't explain why. My only disappointment with the book is that it takes so long to find out what occurred in the past, so readers couldn't try to guess how she might get out of the mess she is in. But once all is explained the suspense builds to an incredible climax and I'm sure readers will be satisfied with the romance as well as the suspense. I highly recommend this book!

This was the first book in this series that I have read. I honestly don't feel compelled to read any of the others. I find it extremely frustrating when the heroine, whose life is in mortal peril, doesn't believe that she should share all pertinent information regarding her imminent danger with the ONE person who she trusts to keep her safe.
Derrick and Lidiya (aka Lee) are literally running for their lives and Lee won't give him full information regarding the reason people want her dead until it's almost too late.
The dialogue was stilted: "You need to tell me why people are hunting for you and want you dead." "No, I can't tell anyone. " "Okay, let's go to my super secret getaway house that even my closest friends aren't aware of." I'm paraphrasing here, but that's the way most of the dialogue seemed to me.
I wanted to like this one, but I just could not.

I love this series. I was so excited when I seen this in my email box. I downloaded it right away and began reading it. From the moment I picked it up I was engrossed in Derrick and Lee's story. There was so much chemistry between the two of them. They had so much in common and they were both so stubborn. They both believed that because of past mistakes that they were both destined to lead a life alone. This book was full of so much suspense, drama, romance, and even humor. Having all the other Cover Six Security guy's in the book and having TR there being a friend but also a thorn in Derrick's side added so much more to the book. This book was incredible from start to finish. I am anxiously awaiting the next book. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the fourth Cover Six Security book. Chaos and Lee are names on a computer screen but now it is time to learn so much more about them. Chaos has never said more than was needed and now we get to hear him tell his story and maybe, find a HEA. That is only if he can keep himself and Lidiya alive to give it the old college try. This book contains an action packed story that will pull you along as if you are right there in the thick of it with the characters. I felt all the emotions as well as these characters learn about themselves, what is truly important and how they grow as a person and become even stronger. Fantastic story and great series. Enjoy!

This is book 4 in the Cover Six Security series and it features Chaos/Derrick and Lee/Lidiya. She actually helped with TR‘s problem in book 1. The action, adventure and suspense grab a hold of you on the first page! These two only know each other online and anonymously. She needs help and feels Chaos is the only one she can trust. The cat and mouse game is fantastic! The plot twist is SHOCKING! You’ll never believe how these two are connected.
The story line is AWESOME! The characters are BRILLIANT and well developed. The heated romance that brews between Derrick and Lee is smokin’ HOT! This is an amazing action and suspense book that doesn’t stop until the very end. I can’t wait for more!

Derrick and Lidiya's story is full of jaw dropping moments and will have you on the edge of your seat. You'll be frantically turning the pages and unable to stop reading until you get to the end. I love how each of the Cover Six Security guys have different stories to tell, but work so well as a team and are their for each other no matter what. Each book can be read as a standalone, but you're definitely going to want to start from the beginning and make the time to meet each of the guys and the women they fall in love with. If you already enjoy this author's hockey romance books, then you'll also love this series and Lisa B Kamps won't leave you disappointed

There should be a little Chaos in everyone’s life!
The Warrior: Derrick is the fourth book in Lisa B Kamps’ Cover Six Security series and this storyline centres around Derrick "Chaos" Biggs' with Lidiya Stephenson. I have enjoyed the first three books in this series, and I was truly looking forward to Chaos’ book. It was well worth the wait; it does not disappoint! This book is smouldering, steamy and sexy but it is also jammed packed with all the suspense, secrets, danger and action that you would expect with this series and from this author. This is another page turner that you will not be able to put down. I would recommend this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I love Lisa’s books and this one is no exception. I found this one a little slower to get started than I remember the previous Cover Six Security books to be. I’m usually anxious to get the secret out and the action going. I must say, though, that once it got started, it was impossible not to finish the book. I was even hit with a couple of surprises I never saw coming which increases my desire to finish a book quickly. This book can definitely be read as a stand alone, but I strongly suggest you read all the books in the series.

This series just keeps getting better and better!! The characters are well developed and the storyline is suspenseful. This book had me captivated from the beginning. This story is about Derrick “Chaos” Biggs and Lee, his hacker friend. Lee doesn’t trust anybody with her secrets, even Chaos, which could lead to both of their demises. She doesn’t want to let him know the details of the reason she is asking for help, like who is after and why. Even though Lee knows Chaos to be loyal and trustworthy she still hesitates. Chaos has secrets of his own that he guards close to his chest. Will they be able to trust each other before it’s too late? I can’t wait to delve into the other books of the series!! I highly recommend this book!
